Creekfest Auction Basket

Hello CFES families!
It's that time of year again. I can't wait to experience Creekfest this year as a part of CFES traditions. Our class has a basket that will be raffled at Creekfest. Here is a link to our Sign Up Genius for the items needed for our class basket.
Please have these items to Kristi Ullrich by March 23rd. She has a drop off location at her house, indicated in the SIgn Up Genius. Thank you in advance for your support and for making this fun day happen, despite the craziness this school year has brought upon us. One thing I've learned about the Creekside community is that we all come together to ensure the best experience for our kids. THANK YOU!

Weekly Newsletter Week of February 22nd

Good evening CFES families,
I hope this update finds you and your family safe and warm. It's been quite a week here in Texas. I can't wait to see our students back in our building, learning and having fun with their peers. Here is our updated newsletter for next week. If there is anything I can do to help the transition back to "normal" for your student, please let me know. I hope you have a great weekend.

Weekly Newsletter Week of February 15th

Good morning CFES families,
Wow! What a week! Who would have thought south Texas would have potential snow headed our way in February? Next week, on Tuesday, students will be learning virtually. Our class will meet at 9:00 am to check in and give directions for the day. We practiced logging in yesterday and expectations for Google Meet, however, I am available to walk you through any questions or hiccups you may encounter. The link is on Schoology.
Wednesday and Thursday, we will be taking our interim assessments. Please ensure your child has headphones for the assessment. The interim measures progress in reading and math and pinpoints skills for improvement.
Lastly, thank you for all of the support and love you have sent to my family this week for our baby boy, Luke. I never thought I wanted to be a mom until I started teaching and had the opportunity to watch these young, unique personalities grow and develop. THANK YOU! My husband and I are over the moon and cannot wait to meet Luke.
Stay safe, stay warm, and stay connected. I am here for any questions you may have in the next coming days.

Week of January 25th

Hello Cougar families!
We've had an awesome week of learning, and our kiddos deserve a restful weekend! Next week, we will have a student teacher from Texas A&M. She will be virtual, helping us in class as needed. We are so excited to have her! Here is a link to a short bio about our student teacher, Alyssa.
Secondly, our class is in need of some highlighters (pink, blue, green, and yellow) and colored pencils. We are beginning expository writing and we are using these supplies to facilitate learning. Thank you in advance for your support!
Have a fabulous weekend!
