Dear Parents,

I am honored to be a part of the Creekside Forest Elementary School family and your child's learning experience in 4th grade. This website will tell you a little about me and some important information about our school year. Please subscribe to this website for any important news flash reminders or updates.

I look forward to getting to know your child. These first few days are important. I value parent involvement and encourage you to partner with me to make this the most successful year for your child.

Thank you,
Abbey Franks

Creekfest Family Volunteer Opportunity

PTO needs your help!

WHAT:  The preparations for Camp Creekside are underway and we need your help making it awesome! The students will be having lunch outside and in order to stay compliant with TISD Covid-19 regulations we need to make sure the kids are properly spaced out. This is where we need your help. We are hoping to create 12 different campsites on the 4th and 5th grade playground where the kids can have lunch.

WHO:  We are asking 12 families to each set up one of these campsites. If you are a camping family and have a tent, cooler, cots, sleeping bags, fishing poles, chairs, etc. then please sign up! You can bring whatever you would like to make your campsite fun and unique! The possibilities are endless.

The students will not be going inside the tents or using any of the items you bring. They will be mainly decorative and a neat addition to Camp Creekside.

WHEN:  You and your family can come out to the 4th & 5th grade playground on Thursday,  April 8th any time between 4:30pm and 8:00pm to set up your campsite. We will have tags to put names on any of your items (if you choose). Then, pick-up for your items will be the following day after Creekfest, April 9th, between 4:30pm and 7:30pm.

HOW:  To sign up please go to the following link on our CFES PTO website: CAMPSITE

In order to confirm your sign-up please text or call Alex Leslie: 469-767-7544

Come on CFES families!

Pick a campsite, bring your camping gear, and we will see you on April 8th for our Camp Creekfest set-up day!

Donations to the Tomball Abandoned Animal Rescue

We are celebrating reading Fenway and Hattie by bringing a donation for a local animal shelter. Between February 16th and February 26th, Ms. Hock will have a box available outside the school and inside the Library for items to benefit our furry friends at AAR. Please check the list of things they use, because their rescues eat particular brands of food and treats, but they also need supplies such as paper towels and trash bags. Thank you! Here is the Weekly Newsletter.

Students will also be doing virtual school via Schoology on Tuesday, Feb 16th as decided by TISD.
  • Here is the daily schedule for that day.
  • Students will need to get on Google Meet using their account at 9:00 to be counted present. I will answer any questions, including parents, and then we will do a fun activity. They will then be free to work at their own pace.
  • The class has asked if I will set up a Google Meet for a Lunch Bunch. I gave in... so we will stay with our normal time 12:30 pm. Totally OPTIONAL Google meet at 12:30.
  • Then another optional Google Meet to close the day out at 3:30 pm for a Show and Tell opportunity.
