Camp Creekfest is this Friday, April 9!  Please send a beach towel, or small blanket, with your child on Friday.  Students should dress accordingly for the weather, and sunscreen and/or bug spray should be applied at home.  Don't forget a water bottle!  We are looking to a fun day with our campers!

Kindergarten Parents,
Next week we will be doing spring math activities. Your child will need 1 egg carton filled with 12 plastic eggs. The eggs should be filled with NEW trinkets...stickers, rings, balls, etc..(NO CANDY), and taped closed. Please clearly label your child's name on the outside of the egg carton.  Egg cartons filled with eggs are due by Monday, March 29.  Feel free to contact me should you have any questions.  Thank you!

Creekfest Basket Info:
Our class will be participating in the Silent Auction portion of our Creekfest fundraiser by creating a themed basket to be auctioned off online, the week leading up to the event. While participation in this is not required, we greatly appreciate your help in building our incredible basket  for this year’s Silent Auction.

This week reading bags will go home! The bag will have books that are appropriate for your child's reading level. Students are placed in a group of similar readers and each group will have a different day that their bag will be sent home and returned (this day is written in the front pocket). Inside you will find a packet with tips for reading with your student (keep these items at home for your reference). You will also find pictures of our secret stories (keep these in the folder and return weekly). We have circled the ones that we have learned together in class... ask your child to tell you the story.

WOW! I can't believe it is the end of the 2nd 9 weeks! Friday we will celebrate with a fun day. Here are some of the activities that will take place:
-service project 
-watch the Polar Express. Students may wear their pajamas, bring a small blanket, and a stuffed animal. Please be sure your child is able to carry the blanket on their own. If not, a smaller blanket may be a better choice. Students may also wear slippers, but be sure to send sneakers for PE and recess.

-sing along
